Aircraft Fuel Systems, Future challenges and innovative solutions

Lisbon, Portugal, 15th May 2014

The FP7 project SAFUEL (The Safer Fuel System) organised the first public forum to present and discuss challenges and innovative solutions for future aircraft fuel systems. The event was hosted by SAFUEL partner Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon, Portugal, on 15th May 2014. 
Speakers from both industry and academia presented the latest progress of the research done by the SAFUEL partners in the domains of optical gauging, oxygen sensing, water detection, icing and innovations for future fuel tank technologies.
