Lisbon, Portugal, 15th May 2014
Did you miss this meeting? A similar conference will be held at the end of the project (~August 2015).
The FP7 project SAFUEL (The Safer Fuel System) is organising a public forum to present and discuss challenges and innovative solutions for future aircraft fuel systems. The event is hosted by SAFUEL partner Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon, Portugal on the 15th May 2014. Venue is the IST congress centre in central Lisbon.
Speakers from both industry and academics will present the latest progress of the research performed by the SAFUEL partners, in the domains of optical gauging, oxygen sensing, water detection, icing and innovations for future fuel tank technologies.
The proceedings from this event will be available for download for all attendees. If you were unable to attend, you are welcome to request access to the proceedings by using the contact form. Your email adress will not be used for any other purposes.
The programme is also available for download (this version contains info on logistics, such as transportation and maps).
The SAFUEL project also organises a number of associated internal meetings on the 14th & 16th May. Whereas the forum is open for everyone, the associated meetings are for consortium members only.
The forum is open for everyone interested in fuel systems and fuel system safety (and students are particularly welcome) on a first come, first served basis. There is no conference fee, but registration is mandatory. Meeting facilities and refreshments are on the house, and a buffet lunch is organised at the nearby Holiday Inn (23 €, to be paid directly to the hotel). Register now using the online registration form, and at the latest on the 2nd May 2014. You will receive confirmation of your registration and full meeting details by email.
